As Ukrinform reports, citing The Times of Israel, a Qatari representative said on Saturday that a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. on Sunday, January 19.
Hamas was expected to provide the names of three individuals by Saturday evening.
However, on Saturday evening, the Prime Minister's Office noted that Israel still had not received them, which is a violation of the agreement.
In a video address on Saturday, Netanyahu said Israel would not rest until "all its military objectives are achieved," including the release of all hostages held in Gaza.
According to Israeli officials, three women are to be the first to be released out of the 33 hostages to be released during the first 42-day phase of the deal.
In exchange for three Israeli women, about 95 Palestinians are planned to be released.
In total, for all 33 hostages, Israel will release 1904 Palestinian prisoners by the end of the first phase, including those serving life sentences for terrorist attacks and murders.
The first phase of the deal will also see a large shipment of humanitarian aid delivered to Gaza. The remaining 65 hostages are to be released in exchange for a permanent ceasefire in Gaza.
The ceasefire agreement, which was approved by the Israeli government on Friday evening, is designed to stop the war between Israel and Hamas, which broke out on October 7, 2023.
As Ukrinform reported, the Israeli government on Saturday approved a ceasefire agreement with the Hamas group in the Gaza Strip and the release of hostages.
