So, according to the published schedule, on Saturday, January 18, a Presidential reception and fireworks will take place at the private Trump Sterling Golf Club in the suburbs of Washington. On Sunday, January 19, an official wreath-laying ceremony will be held at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery, after which Trump will take part in a victory rally in the capital "Make America Great Again". On the same day, the president-elect will deliver a speech at a gala dinner.
The main inauguration events for President-elect Donald Trump and Vice President-elect J.D. Vance will take place on Monday, January 20. They will begin with a service at St. John's Church, continue with a tea party at the White House, an official swearing-in ceremony in front of the U.S. Capitol building, a ceremonial drive to the White House, and a farewell meeting with the outgoing president.
In addition, on Monday there will be a gala dinner in Congress, a review of the troops by the new president, a presidential parade on Pennsylvania Avenue, the signing of new decrees, and Trump's speech at the Commander-in-Chief's Ball.
On Tuesday, January 21, a national prayer service will be held as part of the inauguration events.
