This year, the updated Honda CR-V crossover will be launched. The model family will be expanded by adding the TrailSport version, which is focused on off-road.
The new model, similar to the Honda Passport and Pilot in the TrailSport version, will receive protective steel plates on the bottom, a massive plastic body kit, bright orange hooks on the bumper and larger wheels shod with all-terrain tires. The crossover will also have a stronger suspension and increased ground clearance for better cross-country ability.
CR-V TrailSport is also promised more durable materials in the interior trim and special driver assistance systems. The cars will also have a retuned all-wheel drive system, thereby improving driving characteristics. There is no official information about the powertrain yet. According to insiders, the off-road-adapted crossover will be offered with a 1,5-liter gasoline turbo engine with a capacity of 190 hp, as well as a hybrid installation based on this engine.
