The Honda CR-V crossover will be updated this year and, following the Pilot and Passport, will receive an off-road version of the TrailSport. It is not yet known whether any technical changes are planned, but the "TrailSports" will definitely be easily recognizable from the outside. UAmotors reports this.
For example, the Passport, in addition to steel underbody protection, stands out with glossy black exterior decor and amber daytime running lights. And the Pilot TrailSport has all-terrain tires and its own body color – Diffused Sky Blue.

The sixth generation CR-V debuted in 2022. The crossover has increased in size, received a rich initial equipment and acquired a modernized Real Time AWD full drive and a descent assistant. From now on, the transmission can direct up to 50 percent of the traction to the rear axle, which should have a positive effect on safety and off-road capabilities. In America, the CR-V is equipped with a 1.5 turbo engine paired with a CVT or a hybrid power plant taking into account the 2.0 “four”. Only the second option is available to European buyers plus the e:PHEV system, like the SUV for China.
In addition, in Japan and the USA, it sells the hydrogen CR-V e:FCEV. Its power plant includes fuel cells with a capacity of 125 horsepower, an electric motor (176 hp, 311 Nm) and a battery with a capacity of 17,7 kilowatt-hours. The latter acts as a buffer, as in conventional FCEV cars, but can act as an independent source of energy using Level II charging (alternating current, 240 V). With a full battery, the crossover travels 47/60 kilometers (EPA/WLTP), the total range is 435/600.
