
Today I am preparing the most delicious Hutsul dumplings with a traditional filling - cheese! My family loves them very much, and it is not difficult for me to make them according to this simple recipe!
Ingredients:
Custard dough:
- 400 g flour
- 0,5 hours. L. salt
- 200 ml of boiling water
- 2 Art. l. oil
Toppings:
- cottage cheese
- sour milk cheese + egg + salt
- butter for serving
Preparation:
Custard dough:
I add salt to the sifted flour, and pour boiling water, stir with a spatula. I knead with my hands, at the end I add oil and knead to a homogeneous dough. I divide into 4 parts and leave to rest.
Toppings:
I make two fillings, just with cheese and I also take sour milk cheese, which I mix with an egg and a little salt.
I roll out the dough into a layer about 3 millimeters thick, cut out circles, add fillings and form dumplings. Put the dumplings in a pot of boiling salted water and cook until they float to the top, about 4-5 minutes.
Served with butter, delicious!
