Second drone attack causes fire at oil depot in Voronezh region (VIDEO)

On the evening of January 20, 2025, an oil depot in the city of Lysky, Voronezh Oblast, Russia, was again attacked by drones, causing a large-scale fire. This is the second such attack in the past week.

Local residents reported at least four explosions and a bright glow in the area of ​​the oil depot. Videos from the scene posted on social media show the scale of the fire.

A previous attack on the same oil depot occurred on January 15, 2025, when drones caused a significant fire that lasted for several days. In connection with this, a state of emergency was introduced in the Lyskinsky district on January 17.

The oil depot in Lysky belongs to Voronezhnefteproduct, a subsidiary of Rosneft. It has 23 tanks with a total capacity of 47,8 thousand cubic meters, where AI-92 and AI-95 gasoline and diesel fuel are stored.
