A service for checking and paying parking fines has appeared in Ukraine in 19 cities. The UA Fines application has added the ability to monitor and pay parking fines to its functionality. Currently, this functionality is available for 19 cities in Ukraine, Speka writes.
The driver can check, view photo confirmation, and pay fines in seconds, using a preferential rate of 50% for prompt repayment within 10 days of receiving the fine. Strafa UA paid special attention to providing a guarantee of fine repayment, which is currently not provided by any other service for paying traffic fines.

Currently, the ability to view fines for traffic violations is available on the resources of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in Diya, the “Kyiv Digital” application (exclusively for Kyiv), and even in Privat24, with a search by car or by resolution. At the same time, Shtrafy UA claims that currently their service “is the only one that provides the ability to automatically check parking fines,” because in Diya and “Kyiv Digital” this function is not implemented.
According to the company, in Kyiv in 2024, more than 230 thousand fines were processed, in Dnipro - 130 thousand violations, in Khmelnytskyi - 10 thousand.
Fines UA described the algorithm for paying parking fines:
- 1. Automation. The user will receive a timely notification about a new parking violation fine automatically in the mobile application. This eliminates the possibility of losing the fine, the non-payment of which can lead to blocking of bank accounts, legal cases and other troubles.
- 2. Transparency. The fine notification contains all the details of the violation: time and date of receipt, location, photo of the car and article. This information helps to understand the reasons for the fine as transparently as possible.
- 3. Identification of payment details. Each municipal inspection has its own details for transferring funds to the local budget. These details are used to identify the payer and correctly record the fine.
- 4. Check the status of the fine. Before payment, the current status of the fine is checked. This allows you to determine whether the fine remains valid, whether, for example, it has been canceled, or whether the amount has changed due to the accrual of a penalty.
- 5. Formation of payment purpose. A unique payment purpose is automatically generated for each fine, which includes: “In case of difficulties, our customer support service fully assists with the solution until the fine is completely closed,” noted Strafy UA. After paying the fine, its status will change to “Awaiting repayment”, and only when the information about the payment from the treasury is pulled up to the inspection database, the fine will change its status to “REPAYED”. This is confirmation that the money has been credited correctly.
