Grandma's cheese bagels

These are my favorite cheese bagels, you won't find a simpler recipe anywhere! They taste perfect with a hot drink!

Ingredients:

  • 250 g flour
  • 5 g of baking powder
  • a pinch of salt
  • 5 g of vanilla sugar
  • 175 g butter
  • 250 g of sour milk cheese (dry)
  • sugar for sprinkling

Preparation:

I mix the flour with baking powder, salt, and vanilla sugar. I add the softened butter and mix until smooth.

I add the cottage cheese and knead a smooth dough.

I divide the dough into 2 parts. I roll the dough into a round layer, cut into triangles, wrap it in bagels. I sprinkle sugar on top to taste.

I spread it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. I bake it in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 20-25 minutes.
