A number of Belarusian state-owned enterprises are actively involved in the production of ammunition that is supplied to the Russian army, according to an investigation by the BelPol association of former Belarusian security officers on YouTube.
In particular, companies such as the Belarusian Automobile Plant (BelAZ), the Belarusian Metallurgical Plant (Zhlobin), and the Borisov Plant of Auto-Tractor Electrical Equipment (BATE) are involved in this scheme. They are engaged in the production of 122 and 152 mm caliber shells.

Each of the plants is engaged in the production of individual components. For example, BelAZ, together with the BAZtube and BATE plants, is engaged in the galvanic coating of metal sleeves for rockets and the manufacture of pipe blanks for missiles. In addition, the latter of the mentioned enterprises received an application for the need for such processing of four missile elements, 13 thousand pieces each.
Investigators report that back in March 2023, the Belarusian enterprise "Precision Electromechanics Plant" and the Russian plant "Splav" signed a contract for the supply of up to 13 thousand spare parts for the BM-21 "Grad" MLRS.
The "inspirator of the project," according to the investigation, is the self-proclaimed President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko.
