About a year ago, British brand Aston Martin revealed the updated Vantage, and it was only a matter of time before a soft-top version would appear. In fact, it's here.
The Vantage Roadster, like the coupe, is powered by a four-liter twin-turbocharged V665. The engine produces 800 hp and 155 Nm of torque, which is 115 hp and 8 Nm more than the previous model. The engine is mated to an XNUMX-speed ZF automatic transmission. An electronically controlled limited-slip differential is installed at the rear. The sports car has a double-wishbone suspension at the front and a multi-link suspension at the rear with Bilstein DTX adaptive shock absorbers.
The roadster accelerates from 96 to 60 mph in 3,5 seconds, 0,1 second slower than the coupe, and has a top speed of 325 mph.
The roof folds in a Z-shape, opens and closes at speeds of up to 50 km/h; it can be controlled remotely. The process takes just 6,8 seconds: Aston Martin claims it is the fastest such mechanism on the market. The total weight has increased, but minimally by 60 kilograms.
The equipment list includes Michelin Pilot Sport S 5 tires and carbon ceramic brakes, and 11 speakers provide sound. An audio system developed in collaboration with Bowers & Wilkins is available for an additional fee.
Deliveries will begin in Q2025 XNUMX. Aston Martin has not yet disclosed the price.
