The dessert "Christmas tree cones" is prepared very quickly, and at the same time you will need a minimum of ingredients. There are several ways to prepare this dessert, you just have to choose to your own taste.
Method 1. Christmas cones based on cookies
Ingredients:
- 400 g of cookies (you can take them with the taste of ghee, oatmeal or chocolate);
- 100 g of butter;
- 3 Art. l. cocoa;
- 1/2 cup of milk;
- 80 g of dark chocolate;
- 70 g of chocolate cornflakes, chocolate kalettes or almond petals (your choice).
Preparation:
Grind the cookies in a blender or with a rolling pin. Add cocoa to the milk, put the pan on a slow fire. Add the butter and let it melt, but don't let it boil!
Next, add crushed cookies to the chocolate-milk mass, knead the dough. If the dough is runny, add a little more crushed cookies. From the dough, form pyramids in the shape of cones and put them in the refrigerator for one hour.
After the specified time, you can start decorating the dessert. Chocolate cornflakes or chocolate kalettes are suitable as "flakes" (chocolate in the form of drops can be bought in a supermarket or ordered online). Almond petals are also suitable. They can be alternated, for example, make part of New Year's cones with kale, and the other part with almonds.
By the way, the cones will be especially tasty if, before decorating, the almond petals are fried and sprinkled with cocoa powder. In addition, they will not differ in color from the dessert itself. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve.
Method 2. New Year's cones based on biscuit
Ingredients:
- 400 g of chocolate biscuit;
- 100 g of butter;
- 2-3 st. l. cocoa;
- 2 Art. l. sugar;
- 1/2 cup of milk;
- 70 g of chocolate cornflakes, kale or almond petals (your choice).
Preparation:
Grind the biscuit in a blender, mix the resulting crumb with softened butter. Dissolve cocoa and sugar in hot milk. Stir until completely dissolved. Pour the chocolate mixture into the biscuit and mix thoroughly.
Form the cones and let them cool for approximately one hour. Decorate the dessert with flakes, almonds or kale as desired.
