The EU allocated 170 million euros to Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Poland and Norway to strengthen border protection with the Russian Federation and Belarus.

The President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, announced the allocation of financial support for the protection of the borders of six European countries bordering Russia and Belarus.
