"Me and Putin": Erdogan named the world's most experienced politicians

The Turkish leader said that the Russian dictator, who these days was embarrassed by losing Syria, is one of the two most experienced politicians in the world.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said that he and Russian dictator Vladimir Putin are the most experienced leaders in world politics. He said this on Turkish TV, TRT Haber reports.

"There are two most experienced political leaders. One is Putin, the other is me. If you look at our periods of premiership and presidency, it is about 15-16 years. Putin's situation is similar. During this time, we have already done a lot and have many more plans. Our position in the actions we take is a signal to America," Erdogan emphasized.

He also talked about Turkey's cooperation with Russia in the framework of operations in northern Syria. He noted that close relations with Vladimir Putin, intelligence cooperation, as well as the activity of the ministries of foreign affairs of both countries made it possible to achieve significant progress.
