Police officers from Old Town (Maine, USA) managed to catch a sheep that escaped. The report about the animal came from a local resident who noticed an uninvited guest near his house.
Since the sheriff's deputy lives on a farm himself and has a lot of experience with farm animals, he had no trouble convincing the sheep to sit in the back seat of the police car. After that, the animal rolled around the district in the company of officers.
However, the drive was not too long. By repeatedly asking local residents if anyone had lost a sheep, the police quickly found the runaway owner, so she returned to her native farm.
