Time capsule: an old Soviet sedan with no mileage was found in Ukraine (Photo)
Ukrainian blogger Roma Urraco found a unique Soviet sedan that had been in a garage for over thirty years with minimal mileage. He shared this find on his Facebook page.
We are talking about the VAZ-2105 of 1990, which has only 56 kilometers of mileage. The car stood idle for 34 years.
Under the hood is a 1,3-liter 69-horsepower engine with a timing belt drive.
"This is the original VAZ-2105, which differs from other models in that it has a 1,3-liter engine with a timing belt drive. The car was parked in the garage for 34 years without use," he said.
This sedan is exported, as evidenced by the English plate and the additional safety certification plate.
Despite the long parking, the car is in working condition.
The VAZ-2105, also known as the Lada 2105, is a Soviet rear-wheel drive subcompact car that was produced as a replacement for the VAZ-2101 Zhiguli. It was produced from 1980 to 2010.
