The newest Ruta missile was successfully tested in Ukraine

Tests of the new Ruta missile are taking place on the territory of Ukraine, stated the head of state Volodymyr Zelenskyi at the ceremony on the occasion of the presentation of the national award named after Paton without specifying the characteristics and capabilities of the product.

In addition, the president boasted about the discovery of serial assembly of the Palyanitsa missile and the successful use of the Peklo drone missile.

The first official mention of "Ruta" dates back to the summer trimester of this year. The presentation of the novelty by the Destinus group took place at the Eurosatory exhibition in Paris. The specimen presented at that time was decorated with the symbols of the Armed Forces.

According to experts close to the new product, the main advantage of "Ruta" is the combination of low production cost, high speed and serious payload. The launch of the rocket, according to rumors, is carried out with the help of an accelerator. A soft landing option with the use of a parachute system is available.
