The Russian TV channel Izvestia announced the death of its editor Maxim Yeliseev, Chroniclers reports.

According to the Russian mass media, in the fall of 2022, Eliseyev voluntarily joined the occupation forces of Russia. He performed the duties of a liaison officer of the so-called "LPR" in the Kharkiv direction.

The TV channel claims that his death was the result of a drone attack. The details of the incident have not been disclosed.
