Persons who have not passed the test on their knowledge of the Russian language are not allowed to study the specified educational programs.
On December 11, the State Duma of the Russian Federation adopted in the second and then immediately in the third, final reading the law prohibiting the admission to Russian schools of children of migrants who have not passed the test on knowledge of the Russian language. This is reported by rosZMI.
"Persons who have not passed the test of knowledge of the Russian language, sufficient for mastering the educational programs of primary general, basic general and secondary general education, are not allowed to master the specified educational programs," the law states.
The law will enter into force on April 1, 2025.
