The Subaru Solterra electric crossover is expected to receive a new STI version in 2025, which will be distinguished by increased power and better handling.

According to Carscoops, in 2022, Subaru unveiled concepts for an STI sports car and a high-performance version of the Solterra. Now it became known that the serial version of the powerful crossover will debut soon.

Information about this appeared in the publication of the Japanese publication Best Car. The model will reportedly be based on an updated version of the current E-TNGA architecture. Although the battery and electric motors will remain the same, the power and torque figures will increase slightly thanks to the new software. Auto.24 writes about it.

However, you should not expect a significant increase in horsepower. Instead, Subaru is working to improve handling to give drivers a more immersive driving experience. In addition, the car will receive a unique body kit with different wheels.

Interestingly, a sports package for the Solterra called STe is already available in Europe, which is only available in the German market. In this version, the crossover has a power of 218 hp. with all-wheel drive and unique design elements, including 20-inch wheels. The STe version is available for the Platinum and Platinum Plus trim levels for an additional €3500.
