Ukraine has to make "difficult decisions" about the further mobilization of troops.
US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken stated this at a briefing after a meeting with foreign ministers of NATO member countries in Brussels, Radio Svoboda reports.
"Ukraine has to make difficult decisions regarding further mobilization, but these are necessary decisions. We want to make sure that they (the mobilized) have the training and the necessary equipment." he says.
As Blinken emphasized, the question of mobilization is critically important, "because even with money, even with ammunition, there must be people at the front to resist Russian aggression."
It will be recalled that the administration of US President Joe Biden is pressuring Ukraine with the demand to lower the mobilization age to 18 years in order to quickly increase its armed forces for the war with Russia.
