Rocket F launched 23 spacecraft Starlink, including 13 with the possibility of direct communication with the Space Force Station in Florida at Cape Canaveral, on Sunday at 12:12 a.m. ET (05:12 a.m. GMT).
The first stage of the rocket descended to land on the unmanned craft SpaceX "A Shortfall of Gravitas" in the Atlantic Ocean about eight minutes after launch, as planned. According to SpaceX's mission statement, this was the second takeoff and landing for this particular launch vehicle.
The launch on Sunday morning was the 123rd launch F this year Almost 70% of these missions were dedicated to building the Starlink mega-constellation, the largest network of satellites ever created.
