Romanian police detained 20 armed pro-Russian mercenaries who planned to stage riots in Bucharest.
This is reported by Agepres.
The group reportedly booked hotels in the center of the Romanian capital and planned to disrupt protests against pro-Russian presidential candidate Celin Georgescu, who won the annulled first-round election.
The mercenaries also had a list of politicians and journalists against whom "intimidation operations" were planned.
