Deliveries of the first Mercedes-Benz eActros 600 tractor units have begun

Following the recent start of production of the Mercedes-Benz eActros 600 mainline tractors at the Verte plant, customers have already started receiving the first machines. They plan to deliver 50 units by the end of the year. An important factor in the selection of these high-tech electric machines was a government subsidy from the Federal Ministry of Digital Technology and Transport for commercial vehicles with an alternative drive for buyers in Germany.

It should be noted that the Mercedes-Benz eActros 600 became the winner of the prestigious "International Truck of the Year 2025" competition. Thanks to lithium-iron-phosphate batteries with a total capacity of 621 kWh. a tractor in a 40-ton train has a range of 500 km. Moreover, with intermediate charging during a mandatory 45-minute break according to the driver's work and rest schedule, the road train can travel up to 1000 km per day. So far, CCS charging with a capacity of up to 400 kW is available, and a megawatt (MCS) should appear soon.

LFP batteries allow you to use up to 95% of the installed capacity and have a long service life. As a result, the Mercedes-Benz eActros 600 has the same service life as its diesel counterparts – 1,2 million km over 10 years. The developers claim that after that the batteries' state of operation should be at least 80% of new ones.
