Ukrainian designers have revealed details about the newest jet drone "Hell", which in terms of its characteristics is close to a cruise missile. The development has attracted considerable interest due to its affordability and efficiency. According to the publication "Economichna Pravda", the production cost of this rocket-drone is lower than that of the "Lyuty" kamikaze drone, which cost about 200 dollars at the beginning of the year.

"Hell" was created after consultations with the military, which needed an inexpensive means of destruction for targets at a distance of several hundred kilometers. The work lasted about a year, starting in August 2023, and was financed by a private manufacturer.

The rocket can reach a speed of up to 700 km/h and cover a distance of 700 kilometers thanks to the jet engine. At the same time, the warhead weighs less than previous models, such as "Palyanytsia".

Navigation of "Hell" is carried out using an inertial system with GPS signal correction. In future versions, it is planned to introduce more complex guidance systems. The rocket's unique design precluded the use of traditional launch methods, such as catapults or a runway, instead envisioning another, currently undisclosed method.

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, personally attended the missile test, where he proposed its name, which, according to him, was associated with what he saw at the test site. About 100 units have already been produced within three months of the completion of development, and production continues to grow. The rocket consists of 70% Ukrainian components, and its design allows the use of various engines, ensuring flexibility and stability of serial production.
