Peace talks between Ukraine and Russia may begin this winter. This opinion was expressed by the Prime Minister of Poland, Donald Tusk, writes Reuters.
The Prime Minister stated that Warsaw will actively participate in any negotiations when it begins to preside over the European Union on January 1. He also announced a series of talks that will concern "primarily the situation on the eastern border" of Poland.
"Our delegation will be responsible, among other things, for what the political calendar will look like, perhaps what the situation will be during the negotiations, which may, although there is still a question mark, begin in the winter.", the statement says.
