The Yaris remains one of the most popular cars in its class on the European market. But Toyota released the current modification of the hatchback back in 2020. That is, the car is already ready for planned updates. The Japanese company released the 2025 Toyota Yaris on the European market. But, unlike its direct competitors, the hatchback has practically not changed. This is reported by Wheel-news.
As part of the Yaris update, the Japanese company actually focused on improving the top GR Sport version. She complemented it with another shade of the body. As an option with the GR Sport package, a contrasting roof painted in black is still available. In addition to this, a set of new 18-inch matte wheels is expected. Other configurations were replenished with a dark green shade of the body.
The refusal of a more extensive update is likely due to the fact that Toyota previously made changes to the Yaris in 2024. Then the Japanese hatchback received a 10,5-inch touch screen, which was retained by the presented version of the car. In addition, earlier in 2024, the Yaris was updated with a proprietary safety system with an assistant when crossing an intersection.
The former 1,5-liter engine is placed under the hood of the Japanese model. It is optionally combined with 114- or 129-horsepower electric motors. By default, the Yaris hybrid version is equipped with a variator.
