Peugeot started accepting pre-orders for Peugeot e-408, which is offered in Allure and GT versions starting at €42 and €175 respectively. The electric car is equipped with a 44 kWh battery, the range reaches 945 km. 58,2 kW charging is supported.
Electricity consumption is 7,4 km for each kWh. In terms of efficiency, it can be compared with the Polestar 2 and Tesla Model 3. The electric motor with a capacity of 207 hp. and a torque of 245 Nm makes the new model more dynamic than the e-308, which accelerates from a standstill to 100 km/h in 9,8 seconds.
The equipment includes a small steering wheel, a 10-inch instrument panel and a separate i-Toggle touchscreen with support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
