The development of technology affects all areas of our lives. If once repairs in houses and apartments and landscape designs were not too diverse, mostly similar materials were used, now the choice is much richer! Yes, many people still prefer wood. And it is explained simply: beauty, reliability, practicality. But is everything so clear?
Although the board can serve for a long time, it gradually wears out. And if such a floor is laid where people constantly walk, then this process will be faster. But even without it, deformations are possible due to changes in moisture and temperature. Didn't follow? That's it, it's enough for the board to spoil its appearance. And don't forget that it needs to be constantly painted and/or varnished so that the wood retains its attractive appearance.
It is still more difficult with the fence, because if you tinker even a little, it will begin to deteriorate. Then the boards will literally fall apart, and the fence along with them. And it's good, if only the boards, because individual stachetins can be replaced. And if a beam? Then the fence must be completely dismantled. And this is not only an additional expense of money, but also a lot of time, which no one will pay you. Or you will pay for the work of another person who will work for you. And where is the benefit?
But let's return to modern technologies. They allow you to make materials that are no less attractive, but much more reliable and practical. We are talking about a mineral-polymer composite. In terms of cost, it may be less profitable, but if you evaluate the costs in the long term, then it does not play any role - it will still be more profitable as a result. Moisture, fungus, sunlight — all these and other factors do not affect IPC, so it serves for decades.
And what about environmental friendliness? The board is completely natural! In fact, there is nothing to worry about. About 70% of the components in such boards are exclusively natural. The rest are polymers, additives and dyes. But why are they a problem, and a coating with almost the same chemistry as natural wood is a good thing? Since ordinary boards are still covered with paint, IPC is, in fact, no less ecological solution, but much more practical and durable.
