Mercedes-Benz is preparing an updated version of the third-generation GLS, and this is the second facelift of the model. Recently, prototypes of the premium version from Mercedes-Maybach were spotted on tests.
What is known about the novelty
Camouflage hides only the front and rear parts of the car, which hints at changes in these areas. From the photo, you can see the new multi-level graphics of the headlights in the form of stars, located on the outer edges. A similar design can be seen in the rear lights, which also received a star motif. In addition, the radiator grille and bumpers were updated.
The interior remains a mystery, but insiders claim that the cabin will receive a giant screen that will occupy the entire width of the front panel. It will combine a digital dashboard, a multimedia system and a separate display for the passenger in the front seat. A large set of driver assistance systems and safety functions is also expected.
Under the hood will be a familiar 4,0-liter biturbo V8 with mild hybrid technology. This engine produces 558 horsepower and 729 Nm of torque, which allows you to accelerate to 100 km/h in just 4,8 seconds. The official premiere of the model is scheduled for the first quarter of 2025.
