The Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will receive over $242 million in support from Norway
As Chroniclers writes, this was announced by the Prime Minister of Norway, Jonas Gar Stere, his statement was published on the website of the country's government.
As stated, the money will be directed to the protection of people in Ukraine from the attacks of the aggressor country Russia, the demining of Ukrainian territories and the training of the armed forces.
"Ukraine needs additional support to further weaken Russian naval forces in the Black Sea. It is necessary to protect the Ukrainian population and infrastructure from the attacks of the Russian Black Sea Fleet. It is also important to protect the export of grain and other goods by sea, which provides an important income for Ukraine," the politician said.
