The new ranking of the World Car Group is dominated by the Toyota Group, whose combined sales for the period from the beginning of the year to October amounted to more than 8,56 million vehicles. This is reported by Focus2Move.
At the same time, if compared with last year, sales of Toyota Group decreased by 2,1%. Its most popular car remains the bestseller on the market – Toyota Corolla. Sales of this model in 2024 reached 901 units.
It should be noted that the Toyota Group is ahead of its competitors by a large margin - the figures of the Volkswagen Group, which ended up in second place, are "only" 6,85 million units. In third place is the Hyundai-Kia group (5,65 million).

- Volkswagen Group – 6,85 million (-1,6%);
- Hyundai-Kia – 5,65 million (-3,1%);
- Renault Nissan Alliance - 5 million (+1%);
- General Motors – 4,76 million (-4,9%);
- Stellantis – 4,74 million (-8,1%);
- Honda Motor – 3,18 million (-2,9%);
- Ford Group – 3,09 million (-0,4%);
- BYD – 2,95 million (+35,6%);
- Suzuki – 2,64 million (+3,9%).
