Meisha washes the pigs, guards them and watches with emotion as they sleep and eat.
Rottweiler Meisha became the heroine of the network after a video appeared on the Internet with a dog that became a foster mother for guinea pigs. Thus, the animal is saved from loneliness while its owners are at work.
According to the dog's owner, Bethany, she and her husband have full-time jobs. To monitor the animal in their absence, they installed video cameras at the site. What was their surprise when the couple saw what Meisha was entertaining herself with.
The dog spends his day literally glued to the cage with guinea pigs. If they are on the lower level of the cell, then Meisha lies down and watches them. When the rodents climb up, the animal stands up and does not move away from them, observing the behavior of the pigs.
As Bethany, a mother of two children, says, it all started that day when she, as usual, decided to clean the pet's cage and accidentally let Meisha into the house. After some time, the woman noticed that the pigs had run away. After searching the premises, she found them in the same room with a dog that had turned on mother mode. She was so worried about the safety of the pigs that she even growled a little at the cat that tried to get close to the rodents. Rottweiler plays with them, licks them and takes care of them in every way. It gives her special pleasure to watch how this couple eats and sleeps.
Because of the Meisha breed, people often find her scary and want nothing to do with her. They don't want their dogs to play with her either. The dog found himself very unexpected friends, realized his maternal potential and solved the problem of loneliness.
