I have several pork recipes that I use regularly. And today I will tell about one of them. The recipe is very simple and quite popular. The meat is very tasty and falls apart into fibers, ideal for mashed potatoes.
Ingredients:
- Pork 500-600 grams
- 1-2 onions
- Sour cream 100-150 grams
- Mustard 1 teaspoon or tablespoon
- Water 1 cup
- Salt, spices to taste
Preparation:
The meat should be cut into fairly large cubes, so it will be juicier and tastier.
Fry in a pan in a small amount of oil until a golden crust forms.
While the meat is frying, chop the onion. There should be a lot of onions, so you need to take one large or two medium-sized onions.
In order for the onion to be felt in the finished dish, it must also be chopped coarsely. We send it to the pan to the already fried meat.
Fry the meat and onions for several minutes, do not add salt yet. And when the onion becomes soft, pour 1 small glass of water into the pan and cover with a lid. We make the fire slightly below average and put out for about 1 hour.
After an hour, you can salt the meat, add your favorite spices and a little pepper. Mix everything and prepare the sauce. For the sauce, mix sour cream, preferably thicker, and mustard. I use the one with seeds.
We send the resulting sauce to the meat and mix, after a minute we turn off the fire.
Serve immediately with mashed potatoes and fresh vegetable salad.
