Unfortunately, even experienced housewives know such a common problem as persistent yellow stains that are almost impossible to wash off. And it is especially unfortunate to see them on white and light clothes, school uniforms, shirts, etc.
Yellow spots are caused by sweat, deodorants, cosmetics and foundation. Ordinary washing is not always able to cope with them, but there is one simple solution that allows you to return things to their fresh original appearance without extra effort.
According to experienced housewives, to remove stains it is necessary to prepare a special solution: dissolve one tablespoon of soda in a glass of warm water. Or you can also replace soda with citric acid, keeping the ratio - one spoon per glass.
Yellow marks should be treated with the resulting solution, using a regular sponge for washing dishes or a cosmetic disc. After finishing the treatment, it is recommended to leave the mixture on the problem areas for about 30 minutes, and then wash off the solution and wash the thing in the usual way for you - in a washing machine or by hand.
If the stains are old and were not removed in previous seasons, then you can strengthen the effect of soda with a soapy solution. To do this, you need to dissolve liquid laundry soap in one liter of water and soak the item for approximately 30 minutes. Then you should rinse the clothes in clean water and repeat the procedure described above.
Thus, this folk method of stain removal, proven over the years, is quite easy to use, extremely effective and gentle on fabrics. In addition, citric acid can additionally soften water, making it much softer.
