Grated pie with cheese filling
There are many recipes for grated pies with various fillings, all of them are combined by simplicity of preparation. We are preparing a delicious grated pie with cheese and raisins. Soft cheese and raisins with a sour taste complement the sweet crumbly dough well. For the grated pie, we prepare a shortbread dough based on butter, eggs, flour and sugar. Cheese is most suitable for medium fat.
Ingredients:
- Chicken egg 2 pcs
- Butter 100 g
- Salt 1/3 tsp
- Sugar 150 g
- Flour 350 g
- Baking powder 1 tsp
- Cheese 5% 500 g
- Eggs for filling 2 pcs
- Raisins 100 g
- Sugar 100 g
- Vanillin - to taste
Preparation:
Prepare all the ingredients for making the pie. Remove the butter from the refrigerator in advance so that it becomes soft.
In a deep container, beat eggs, pour sugar, a pinch of salt, put butter.
Beat all the ingredients with a blender until a homogeneous mass is obtained.
Sift flour through a sieve, add baking powder. Add sifted flour in small portions to the main composition.
Knead a thick, elastic dough that will slightly stick to your hands.
Divide the dough into two equal parts, wrap each in a separate bag and place in the freezer for 40-50 minutes so that the dough becomes firm.
At this moment, prepare the cheese filling. In a deep container, combine cheese, eggs, sugar and vanilla.
Beat the components with a blender until smooth.
Pour boiling water over the raisins for 10 minutes so that they swell and become soft. Then squeeze them from the liquid and add to the curd mass, mix.
Next, take the dough out of the refrigerator. Grease a rectangular shape with oil. Grate one part of the dough on a large grater, put the shavings on the bottom of the form, level them.
Pour the cheese filling on top.
Grate the second piece of dough on a large grater and place it on top of the pie.
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees, put the mold with the workpiece inside. Bake the cake for the next 40 minutes until done. The surface of the cake should be slightly browned.
Cool the cake directly in the form, then take it out.
