Every weekend my family asks for this amazingly delicious salad! And I always cook it, it turns out so tasty and filling! A recipe for a light salad with green peas and eggs.
Ingredients:
- Canned green peas - 240 g
- Onion - 1 pc.
- Boiled eggs - 4 pcs.
- Hard cheese - 120 g
- Dill, parsley - 1 bunch
- Salt - 0,5 tsp. l. (optional)
- Ground pepper - 0,5 tsp. l.
- Mayonnaise - 3 tbsp. l. (or yogurt + mustard)
Onion marinade:
- Hot water - 120-150 ml
- Sugar - 2 tbsp. l.
- Salt - 0,5 tsp.
- Vinegar - 2 tbsp. l.
Preparation:
Onion marinade:
I cut the onion into small pieces, pour boiling water over it, add vinegar, salt and sugar. Marinate for 1-2 hours.
I cut boiled eggs into cubes, put them in a deep bowl, pour in green peas.
I rub the cheese on a grater, chop the greens.
Strain the onion mixture through a sieve, put it in a salad bowl. I season the salad with salt, pepper and mayonnaise and mix everything well.
