The economic situation is not improving, and prices are steadily rising. Buying a new car always carries the risk of excessive additional costs. However, analysts note that with the introduction of new models, a sharp increase in the number of electric vehicles (EVs) and an increase in the range, buyers will even see a drop in the prices of popular car models.

Car prices will vary. CarEdge experts predict that by the end of next year, the prices of some new cars will drop by 3-5%, OBOZ.ua informs.

Toyota Camry

The Toyota Camry is a long-time favorite for those looking for a reliable car. Known for its durability and low maintenance costs, the Camry consistently ranks high in reliability ratings.

There's some great news for drivers: As Toyota releases newer models and expands into the EV market, older versions of the Camry may become more affordable. While the latest models are loaded with advanced technology, safety features and sleek design, older models will still offer the Camry's signature reliability at a more affordable price.

Ford Mustang Mach E

The EV market is booming, and as more manufacturers release budget EVs, some current models will naturally become more affordable. The Ford Mustang Mach-E, a real hit at launch, is likely to see a slight price drop in 2025.

Ford already cut prices on the model earlier this year after falling sales, and a wave of new, cheaper electric vehicles from Ford and other automakers will make older electric models, even popular ones like the Mach-E, more affordable.

Chevrolet Bolt

The price of the Chevrolet Bolt, one of the first affordable EVs, could also drop significantly next year. With rivals like Tesla, Hyundai and Kia releasing their own low-cost electric options, older Bolt models will have to drop in price to stay in the game. In particular, the 2022 and 2023 models can offer quite attractive value as they begin to flood the used car market.

Nissan Leaf

Another electric car whose price may drop in 2025 is the Nissan Leaf. This is a solid option for those looking to switch to an all-electric vehicle. However, with advances in battery technology and increased competition from new electric vehicles, older Leaf models are likely to become much more affordable. As the aging ChaDeMo car charger becomes harder to find, demand will drop, meaning dealerships may lower prices in 2025.
