Stabilizer struts are considered the weak point of the suspension of many modern cars. Their resource is usually limited to 50 kilometers, but there are ways to significantly extend their service life. This was told by an expert of the NNews portal.

The first signs of wear of the stabilizer bars include dull knocks in the suspension, reduced stability of the car in turns and increased rolls. These suspension elements play an important role in providing vehicle stability, reducing body roll and improving handling.

Stabilizer struts are metal rods with hinges that wear the most. Often factory parts last longer than analogues due to higher quality anthers. However, there is a way to extend the life of any rack: you need to choose anthers made of durable material, and before installation, additionally lubricate the joints with waterproof grease.

This approach allows you to double the service life of the stabilizer struts to 100 kilometers.
