The BBC has published a list of 100 women of the year
Every year, the BBC publishes a ranking of the 100 most influential women in the world who have inspired and changed it.
The British corporation BBC published a list of the hundred most influential women of the year from all over the world who inspired and influenced the world in 2024. The list included farmer Olga Olefirenka and CEO Superhumans Center Olga Rudneva. This is reported by BBC News.
Olga Rudneva created the Superhumans trauma center in Lviv, which she manages as the general director together with a team of specialists. The center deals with limb prosthetics, and it recently opened a rehabilitation department.
"I would never be on this list if it weren't for the successes of the supers, that's why here is a photo with Serhiy Zhukovsky. After losing two arms, he entered the Superhumans Center, got cool prosthetics and opened his own business. Lives to the fullest and inspires the people around him," Olha Rudneva wrote on Facebook.
Ukrainian farmer Olga Olefirenko was also included in the list. Olga decided to fulfill the dream of her father, who died in the war in 2015 — to create a farm. The woman bought livestock, but soon Olefirenka was forced to sell all the animals.
However, not wanting to give up on the aspirations of her father, Yury Olefirenko, (commander of the 73rd Naval Special Forces Center), she drew up a business plan and applied for funding from the Ukrainian Veterans Fund and was successful.
Olefirenka reorganized the farm. This time she focused on modernization, application of new agricultural technologies and creation of jobs for the local community. Olefirenka has become a real source of inspiration for people who work with her.
