In the next week, seven large banks are preparing to sign a memorandum among themselves. It refers to the tightening of restrictions on card-to-card transfers.

As the publication notes, the National Bank introduced similar restrictions for p2p transfers two months ago. However, according to journalists, the limits proposed by banks will be even lower and will apply to all types of transfers, including IBAN.

It is planned to introduce restrictions on transfers from cards of individuals without confirmation of the source of funds, if the amount exceeds 100. UAH per month. For customers with increased risk, this limit will be 50. UAH

The new rules that banks plan to introduce will cover both international transfers and domestic transactions to the accounts of any counterparties.

It is also proposed to set a limit on the number of accounts in one currency. Customers who do not have documentary evidence of the origin of funds may have a maximum of three accounts.

According to Forbes, at least seven banks must sign the corresponding memorandum: Oschadbank, OTP Bank, Privatbank, Pravex Bank, PUIB, Raiffeisen Bank, Universal Bank.
