Researchers will not be able to process much of the data collected by the Solar Dynamics Observatory for some time NASA (Solar Dynamics Observatory, SDO) and the spacecraft IRIS. The whole thing is flooded in the server Stanford University in California, which houses the machines that process and distribute data from the instruments of these space probes.
As it became known, a burst pipe in the Stanford University server led to the flooding of part of the laboratory and damage to the equipment.
The researchers said that the repairs will not be completed until next year. Until then, the machines will not be able to process the new data collected by SDO and IRIS.
