A duo of fruits and vegetables that you can buy at your local grocery store has been proven to effectively regulate body weight.
Visceral fat belongs to the club of conditions that can increase the risk of heart disease, so its eradication is mandatory. Fat is more dangerous than subcutaneous fat, which is just below the surface of the skin. Visceral fat is hidden deep in the abdomen, near vital organs such as the liver and intestines. Fortunately, smart dietary decisions can help burn it off.
In addition to vitamins and nutrients, colorful plant-based foods often contain powerful disease-fighting compounds such as antioxidants.
This means that turning to natural resources—whether fruits, vegetables, or spices—provides various health benefits. Even stubborn visceral fat isn't immune to these powerful effects, and one glass seems particularly promising.
A study found that apple and cabbage juice can burn fat in just weeks.
The research team intended to observe the effect of this duo of fruits and vegetables on obesity in rats. The study used two drinks: one was a pure kale and apple cocktail, and the other was fermented with a probiotic strain of Lactobacillus Plantarum EM isolated from kimchi.
"Animal models were given 10 milliliters of one of these drinks per kilogram of body weight. After following this diet for eight weeks, the research team observed that both juices were effective in regulating body and liver weight, including visceral fat. But the fermented version showed "a more significant anti-obesity effect".
