Did you know that ordinary caries can cause not only pulpitis, but also sinusitis? How the condition of the teeth affects the health of the whole body, the dentist told.
Pulpitis, periodontitis, AIT, otitis and sinusitis, as well as thyroid gland diseases - all this "bouquet" can appear in your life for one reason: if you do not properly care for your teeth and oral cavity.
"Ordinary caries can cause pulpitis, periodontitis, and then sinusitis. Therefore, permanent diseases of the ENT organs can be a consequence of dental disease," the expert notes.
What can be done to prevent these unpleasant, undesirable consequences? First of all, we learn to brush our teeth correctly.
You need to take care of your teeth at least twice a day - in the morning and in the evening. When choosing a toothbrush, give preference to a soft one - it is better able to remove debris from the surface of the teeth.
It is important not only to choose the right brush, but also to know how to use it. Movements should not just be an "up-down" trajectory, but rather sweeping. Imagine that you are not just brushing your teeth, but doing a general cleaning in the oral cavity. We bring order not only where it is visible, but also from the back side of the teeth too!
Be sure to clean the chewing surfaces well, for this we use horizontal movements.
If possible, always use an irrigator after eating - it is an extremely effective and useful thing.
If you are right-handed, brush your teeth with your left hand, if you are right-handed, with your right. Your teeth don't care, but the brain will really like such a "warm-up" and will benefit.
