Clarke recommends that budget travelers be flexible in choosing the date of departure, choosing the lowest ticket prices. He also advises looking for accommodation outside the city center where prices are more reasonable, with good transport links or safe parking. It is also worth considering private apartments as an alternative to classic hotels, as they can be cheaper and more conveniently located.
