Pollock fillet is one of the most popular fish products that appear on tables with some regularity.
Fish is available and budget-friendly, so it is believed that nothing fancy can be prepared from it. We will tell you how to fry pollock or its fillet to make a luxurious dish.
Necessary:
- pollock - 500 g;
- onion - 1 pc.;
- garlic - 2 cloves;
- vegetable oil - 2 tbsp. L.;
- butter - 30 g;
- Provence herbs - 1 tsp. L.;
- bay leaf - 1 pcs.;
- fresh greens;
- salt and pepper to taste.
How to cook:
1. Wash the fillet and cut it into equal pieces.
2. Cut the onion into large half rings, cut the garlic into medium slices with a knife.
3. Heat the pan over medium heat and fry the onion and garlic in the oil. When the vegetables become golden, add butter and reduce the heat.
4. We put the fish on the pan. The onion should be removed to the sides of the pan, add oil, bay leaf, spices and herbs.
5. Cook covered for 12-15 minutes without turning. When ready, sprinkle with chopped greens and serve with a side dish.
