How to cook lean borscht
Bring the water to a boil. Thinly slice the cabbage, and cut the potatoes into cubes. Finely chop the onion and fry in oil. Then add grated beetroot to it. To preserve the color, you can sprinkle a little vinegar. After 5 minutes, you can add tomato paste.
You need to wait until the potatoes are cooked in the water. Then transfer the roasting. Boil the borscht for another 15 minutes. Salt, pepper to taste. For taste and aroma, you can add a crushed clove of garlic and greens. Bon appetit!
