According to Ukrainian legislation, drivers are allowed to carry no more than 60 and 1500 liters of fuel in portable canisters and standard fuel tanks, respectively.
Ignoring these norms may result in a fine of 510 hryvnias. The appropriate sanction is prescribed in the first part of Article 132-1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (violation of the rules of transportation of dangerous goods), writes Wheel News.
In order to avoid trouble, motorists should monitor the amount of fuel being transported for compliance with the established limits.
