A new automobile brand - INEOS - has appeared in Ukraine. This was reported on the website of the Ukrainian representative office of the brand, writes MMR.net.ua.
The brand will be represented on our market by the INEOS Grenadier SUV. The car is available in three versions. The standard five-seater SUV costs from UAH 4, the Utility Wagon from UAH 137, and the Quartermaster four-door pickup truck from UAH 239.
The SUV is offered with 3,0-liter turbo engines from BMW — 286-horsepower gasoline and 249-horsepower diesel. Both units work together with an 8-speed automatic transmission and four-wheel drive with a reduction gear.
It should be noted that the Grenadier was designed as a modern replacement for the original Land Rover Defender with a square body.
Ineos Automotive Ltd. was founded by Sir Jim Ratcliffe, billionaire and chairman of the multinational chemical company Ineos. Ratcliffe came up with the idea of creating a replacement for his Land Rover Defender and approached Jaguar Land Rover with a request for tooling to continue production after the model was discontinued in January 2016.
