The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine has changed the procedure for obtaining a driver's license by canceling restrictions on the number of attempts to pass a practical test. The Wave informs about this.

Candidates were previously allowed only three attempts to pass the practical exam. After two unsuccessful attempts, future drivers were hinted at the need to re-learn at a driving school. The new rules allow driving to be retaken on the eleventh day after the last attempt, with no limit on the number of times it takes to pass.

The introduction of such changes has several important consequences, including reducing corruption risks, reducing psychological pressure on candidates, and improving the quality of driver training.

These changes are part of the reform of the driving license system, which includes increased control over the passing of exams and the possibility of self-study of the theory.

Experts say that some candidates may actually need more attempts to pass the exam. These changes are designed to make the process of obtaining a driver's license more fair and accessible to all candidates, while improving the quality of training for future drivers.
