The Kazan Tank School began to train crews to operate the so-called "sheds" ("turtles") - machines with self-made superstructures against drones for punching breaches in the defense for the rest of the equipment.
Propagandists of the occupiers from the TV channel "Zvezda" claim that one of these structures withstood the blows of several dozen Ukrainian FPV drones. Limited field of vision, impaired maneuverability and inability to fire from a tank gun at 360° are called the disadvantages of "barracks".
The video shows the actions of the cadets on the T-72B3 with man-made superstructures.
Future officers are also taught how to operate a tank under water, how to evacuate in case of flooding and how to leave a damaged car.
Special attention is paid to the management of UAVs: future commanders of "barracks" learn to work with drones of all types, in particular with "Maviki", copters and FPV.
The "sheds" mission is a frontal assault with digging through minefields and calling fire on oneself. To improve survival, such machines are equipped with anti-mine trawls and means of suppressing drones. After clearing the passages, the "turtle tanks" roll back to the rear.
